Drama Korea The Legend of The Blue Sea menceritakan tentang Dam Ryung (Lee Min Ho) yang merupakan seorang pangeran di zaman kuno yang suatu hari harus menginap di suatu tempat dan menemukan sosok seorang putri duyung. Dam Ryung jatuh cinta kepada putri duyung tersebut dan ingin menyelamatkan dari pemilikinya. Suatu hari saat Dam Ryung ingin melepas putri duyung tersebut, Dam Ryung memberikan sesuatu kepadanya agar dirinya selalu mengingatkan dengan Dam Ryung.
